Will You Help Us Reach Out
to Emerging Professionals
and Women in Water?
Recent years have seen a long overdue expansion of OCWA’s mission. We’ve reached out, with great success, to help and encourage two groups in our water community to develop a better understanding both of their valued roles and their individual advancement within their professions. What began with an appeal to familiarize our Emerging Professionals to the world of water, quickly grew to include programs geared to help Women in Water deal with issues of particular concern to them.
We plan to increase these offerings in 2025, and we hope select corporations and public agencies will choose to partner with OCWA to help us realize our goals.
The value of our work here is immeasurable. And judging by the tremendous response we’ve received to similar gatherings and events in the past, those who participate share our enthusiasm.
That’s why we believe it will be of great benefit to our partners to be seen as supporters of these new endeavors. What better effort can we make than to encourage our newest professionals? How can we greater amplify our values than to recognize and encourage the women in our community to attain their greatest potential?
There will be benefits which will accrue to our Sponsors, of course. For each event, select sponsors will be featured in all our promotional pieces for the event. They’ll also be prominently acknowledged at the event, and when possible permitted to make appropriate remarks to the group. In addition, all Sponsors are recognized throughout the year on the OCWA website.
All this for a donation of $500. And you can choose which program you wish to support, be it Emerging Professionals or Women in Water.
But act now! We have events scheduled already for both groups in the month of February, and great plans for the rest of 2025.
